lyrics

THE ASTRONAUT THAT WATCHED THE WORLD.

High above the world tonight,
Their restless souls lie sleeping.
When all their words and wars are done,
They're just children in my keeping.
And I will love them all.
Oh I will love them all.

How they rail against their fate,
And curse the ground beneath them.
So slow to learn,
And quick to blame the Earth that tries to keep them,
But I will love them all,
Oh I will love them all.

They break the bonds of Gravity,
Push back the weight of Innocence,
They claim the shield of Righteousness,
And rush to claim, defend and possess,
With no regard for History,
In shades of Mediocrity,
They smash and grab
and Rape the womb that bore their Fathers legacy…..

High above the world tonight,
My tears can’t hope to dry.
When all they have is Everything,
Except a reason why.
But I will love them all,
And I will love them all…..

They break the bonds of Gravity,
Push back the weight of Innocence,
They claim the shield of Righteousness,
And rush to claim, defend and possess,
With no regard for History,
In shades of Mediocrity,
They smash and grab
and Rape the womb that bore their Fathers legacy…..
